Dendelio

Overview

The Dendelio chandelier puts a modern take on the classic sputnik, its steel framework emulating a skeletal dandelion. Finished in matte gold, the sphere with 35 lights measures 54 inches in both diameter and height so it reads as large scale from every angles. The open geometric arms terminate in small wire cages that keep the silhouette airy while creating a strong geometric structure. As a modern chandelier it functions as statement lighting in a spacious dining room or a tall foyer where the piece can act as the centrepiece without blocking sightlines.

Practical selection should focus on room proportions and support. At 51 pounds and with a total wattage listed at 2100 watts this fixture requires a ceiling that can safely carry the load and a 120 volt supply; the unit is dimmable to tailor ambiance. Verify mounting capacity and available vertical clearance and that you are comfortable with a prominent 54 inch sphere before purchase. The open steel construction makes the finish and bulb choice visible so select bulbs that match the scale and look you want.
