Welsh

Overview

The Welsh Flush Mount is a low profile and layered disc ceiling fixture with a broad 18 inch shade and shallow 7 inch profile. Matte white steel finish and a white glass globe diffuser present a soft, architectural silhouette that reads as modern lighting while keeping a residential scale. The stacked disc detail seen in classic pendant designs appears here in a compact form, centering the illuminated globe and offering gentle downward and ambient light. At 18 inches the fixture suits smaller living rooms, bedrooms, entryways, hallways and kitchens with standard ceiling heights where a pendant would be too large.

Practically, the unit is an integrated LED rated 10W producing 448 delivered lumens at a warm 3000 K with a high CRI of 90 and is dimmable, so you can tune brightness for task or ambience. Before purchase check that your ceiling electrical box can support the 4.41 lb weight and confirm dimmer compatibility with the manufacturer’s dimmer guide; also verify overall scale relative to furniture and sight lines since the wide shade reads larger from below. Intended for indoor use only.
