Welsh

Overview

The Welsh pendant presents a layered silhouette built from stacked metal discs that reads classic and contemporary at once. In matte black with a white glass round diffuser and a warm brass canopy and neck, it settles visually low thanks to an 18 inch diameter and an overall height of 27.5 inches; that scale suits kitchens over islands, small dining tables, and compact living spaces. As a modern pendant it communicates restraint rather than ornament, so it pairs well with mid century, Scandinavian and updated traditional interiors and plays particularly well as kitchen island lighting when used singly or in a linear group.

This model uses a 10 watt integrated LED producing 448 delivered lumens at a 3000 K colour temperature with a CRI of 90, so expect warm, accurate colour illumination suitable for tasks and dining. It is rated for indoor use at 120 volts and is dimmable; check that your dimmer is compatible with integrated LED fixtures and confirm canopy and ceiling box clearance before purchase. At 7.1 pounds the fixture is light enough for standard mounts, and the round white shade helps soften glare while keeping the layered profile visible from below.
